The MIAVR approach is increasingly being used with the aim of reducing the “invasiveness” of the surgical procedure, and improve the eficacy, quality and safety of a conventional approach. Compared with conventional surgery, MIAVR has been shown to reduce postoperative mortality and morbidity, providing faster recovery, shorter hospital stay and better cosmetics results, requires less rehabilitations resources. The two days program, covers all the procedures involved in the surgery, including tips and tricks for various techniques, as well as a visit to Dubai Hospital to view a live surgery.
The ideal target for this course are specialized cardiac surgeons with interest in developing their skills in minimally invasive procedures in aortic valve surgery.
