GSD provides excellency in healthcare. Our team is dedicated to bring the best of the research directly to the patient. Innovation, improvement and repetition are the key to reach this excellency.

Our professors are able to run operations in any part of the world. This allows us to offer our operation services to other partner hospitals.

Despite the fact that we do participate in visiting doctor programs, we do not consider that those short visits could improve the quality of the healthcare delivered by the visited hospitals permanently.

This is the reason why we created the operation program in which we take the full management and operation of specialized departments of the partner hospitals for a duration of 3 years or more.

The Operation Management Program

The operation management program is a less invasive approach than the management program.

Under this initiative, we do not take the management of the full hospital, we only manage one specialized department. A permanent team from GSD Italy will prepare the cases and manage the operation of the department. In addition to this permanent team a senior team will periodically come to operate patients.

This operation model allows us to guarantee bringing the same quality of treatment available in Italy into the operated department. Alongside this purely operational aspect we train the local team firstly to properly assist our team, secondly to become autonomous, and deliver the same level of care we provide without our team.

The duration of the program starts from three years up to ten years. We do not intend to permanently operate the department. Our aim is to transfer our know-how and improve the quality of the healthcare delivered to the community.

Policy Formulation – establish policies to provide guidance to those empowered with the responsibility to manage Hospital operations

Decision Making – choose from alternatives which are consistent with Board policies and that advance the goals of the Hospital

Oversight – monitor and assess organizational processes and outcomes
