Matteo Marullo, MD, orthopedic surgeon, currently carries out his professional activity at the Joint Replacement Department, Director Sergio Romagnoli, MD, IRCCS Galeazzi Orthopedic Institute, Milan.
He graduated cum laude in Medicine at the University of Pavia and, again in Pavia, he obtained the specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology. He began his orthopedic activity mainly dealing with sports traumatology. This interest led him in 2012 to the Service de Chirurgie Orthopédique et Traumatologie of the Center Hospitalier Universitaire de la Basse terre, Guadeloupe (Fr), and then in 2013 in Lyon (France) where he deepened his knowledge on the pathologies of the knee working with the Prof. David Dejour at the Lyon Ortho-Clinic.
In 2014 he won the DJO-SIGASCOT European Traveling Fellowship in Austria, Switzerland and Germany.
He is an EKA (European Knee Associates) member of the ESSKA.
He is the author of 41 publications in national and international journals or books and has spoken at over 50 national and international conferences.

– Meniscal, ligament and cartilage surgery of the knee in arthroscopy
– Patellar instability surgery
