Verdiana Morando, Professor, currently teaches Public Management and Policy at SDA Bocconi School of Management. She teaches “Health system and policies” at the Master of International Health Care Management, Economics and Policy (MIMEHP) and in MIMS.
At SDA Bocconi, since 2014 she works in field of healthcare management, focusing on issues of population health management, clinical governance and international health system comparison. Her research activities focus on population health management and clinical governance, healthcare systems and policies comparison, process management and integrated care.
Professor Verdiana is the author of many chapters, articles and policy report for government institutions. Her work has been published in Mecosan, Health Service Management Review, World Health Organization, National Institute for Health Research, Health Services and Delivery Research Journal. In addition to being a part of international networks as the Population Health Alliance, the International Foundation for Integrated care and the British Academy of Management, she is the associate editor of Health Service Management Review and collaborates with the European Health Observatory on Health System and Policies.
Professor Verdiana earned a Degree in Moral Philosophy and a Ph.D. in Organisational Studies with a Marie Curie Programme, from the Catholic University and the Manchester Business School (Manchester University) and MsC in Health Policies and Commissioning Health Care Services from the Birmingham University, Healthcare Service Management Centre.
